i3 POS Support has received some calls requesting additional information be displayed on the Ingenico Lane/5000 and iSC250 screen. In Counterpoint 8.5.6, Counterpoint allows Payment Terminals to show line information to the customer. These Line Display settings can be configured to show additional information.
Limitations
While these fields can be displayed on the payment terminal screen, there are some limitations:
- Only 5 rows available to display data
- Customers cannot update their information from the terminal
- Customers cannot confirm their information with a Yes/No prompt
- Information can be shown either:
- While entering line items
- After touching/clicking the pay button from Touchscreen Ticket Entry
Available Fields
Information that would be available to add to payment terminal screens includes:
- Customer Information
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Address
- Loyalty Points Balance
- Total Information
- Ticket Total (before payments)
- Amount Paid
- Amount Due (remaining to be paid based on payments)
- Line Item Information
- Prices
- Descriptions
- Weight
